Code of Conduct

As self-employed Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructors, we aim to provide the best service and be as professional as possible. To this end, we undertake to abide by the following Code of Conduct:

  1. Maintain at all times the highest standards of behaviour and professionalism expected by pupils of a Driving Instructor – this means no harassment, shouting, physical contact or discrimination.
  2. Instruct you at all times, to the best of our ability, in all relevant aspects of traffic and driver education.
  3. Ensure that the driving school car is maintained in good mechanical working order and condition, is properly insured, taxed, has a current MoT certificate; and that all reasonable care is taken to keep the school car clean and tidy internally and externally.
  4. Safeguard and deal with any monies paid in advance by you to us for lessons or test fees.
  5. Deal fairly and honestly with all complaints. You are entitled to receive a verbal or written reply addressing your complaint within 7 days of the complaint being received.
  6. Treat all information disclosed by you during lessons with the strictest confidence. Only in the event of your lessons being paid for by another person, will that person be entitled to information regarding your driving performance and test appointments – provided this is with your consent.

A copy of both the Code of Conduct and Terms of Business will be issued to you on your first driving lesson and at any other time you request.
